Nail Guide is Polished Cary Nails' long-form library. Where Common Questions answers a quick decision, a Guide takes one service or material and walks through it end-to-end: what it is, who invented it, how the chemistry works, how it's applied at the salon, what wear looks like, and how it's removed without damaging the natural nail.

The collection covers the technical backbone of contemporary nail work — acrylics (history, application, cost, beauty), gel and gel-vs.-acrylic comparisons, shellac and its evolution, dip powder and SNS, paraffin treatments, full-set definitions, French manicure technique, and DIY pedicure protocols for home maintenance. Each guide is written so a first-time client can follow along, but layered enough that experienced wearers learn the why behind their preferred service.
